Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3)
Our Vitamin B3 is Active
Vitamin B3 includes niacin (nicotinic acid) and niacinamide (nicotinamide). Niacin is a precursor of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP). These enzymes are essential for oxidation- reduction reactions, ATP synthesis, and ADP-ribose transfer reactions. Vitamin B3 is necessary for normal neurological function, normal energy release from food, normal structure and function of skin and mucous membranes.
It contributes to normal growth and development and normal psychological function in children. Niacin helps the digestive system, skin, and nerves to function.
